Current Version - Released 09 January 2011

Birch 0.6.3 (Zip File) - Released 09 January 2011
This version contains some visual improvements, as well as some functional improvements. It's generally an all-round improved version.
Birch 0.6.1 (Zip File) - Release 08 October, 2010
This is mostly a bug-fix and improvement version. There are some minor changes that make the general experience of Birch a much smoother one, as well as some user request that have been rolled into it.

Birch 0.6-3 BETA (zip file) - Released 06 August 2010 (Birch .jar file added on 07 Aug 2010. My bad)

Having spent some more time working on multiple-server support after a request from the user elusiveelf I've finally managed to get disconnect working in a sensible fashion. This release has usuable multiple-server support. At the moment, there are two development branches, and the -3 indicates the branch for multiple-servers. This may vanish in later editions, as both branches are merged. Even for those people who are NOT looking for multiple-server support, this client is still the most current, though the changes are entirely related the multiple-server support.

Birch 0.5.5.1 BETA (zip file) - Released 22 May 2010

Don't be fooled by it's point increase, many changes have gone into the version to make it much more functional than the last version. I'm realeasing it as a point version because there is still much work to get to 0.6 BETA, but I feel that people will benefit from the new additions.

Fixes and Improvements in this Version:
Experimental Version - For Testing Purposes Only

Birch 0.5.5.1-3.BETA.zip
Due to popular demand, I've added multiple-server support to the Java IRC Client. This is currently a \n very experiemental feature. It DOES succesfully connect to multiple servers, but it doesn't (currently) disconnect from them in a sensible way (That is, you can't choose which one you want to disconnect from, you can only disconnect the last one connected, but that's not certain either, YMMV). For those of you brave enough to want to help with some real testing, download this one, and give it a go!
